Honey bees make their homes in commercial structures too. Removals from commercial buildings often present a bigger challenge because the construction is different and the buildings are much larger and taller than residential dwellings. We can arrange for all the appropriate lifts and equipment to safely remove even the biggest, baddest hive from your facility.
This hive was removed in April of 2012. We had to rent a 50' tow behind lift for this job as the hive was located approximately 35' above the sidewalk. The bees attached their comb sections onto the window. It was a thing of beauty but the bees were not too happy they were being evicted that day.
This colony was removed on June 11, 2012 from the market place gift shop at our very own Audubon zoo. It was an extremely messy and tedious job that involved several people. What's very interesting is the fact that these bees had been robbing the snow ball stand of green syrup and made quite a bit of green honey!
